Calendar for cutting flowers
From the end of March on, with the many special tulips the flower cuing season begins,
followed by the giant allium.
From May to autumn we offer freshly cut flowers from our own cultivation in the nursery Karrer in Küsnacht near Zurich, for example for happy bouquets.
The summer bloom begins with the Levkoys in May,
afterward our colorful peonies, carnations, thimbles, campanula, snapdragon, targets and zinnias will bloom.
Later on you will find the first sunflowers, dahlias and many more.

The flower nursery Karrer Gärtnerei AG offers a large field, where you can cut and pick flowers for a beautiful bouquet.
Enough parking spaces are available, it’s easily accessible by car,
on the main street Küsnacht - Zumikon.
Or by public transport: take the bus 912 or 919 to the stop "Schübel", then walk 5 minutes towards the direction of Zumikon or the next stop is "Tägermoos" this one is just a few steps above the field.

For all flower types that are not specifically listed,
the cut flower prices depend on the stem length:
CHF 0.40 is the minimum per stem
CHF 0.60 for 30 cm / 1 ft.
CHF 1.00 for 50 cm / 1.64 ft.
CHF 1.40 for 70 cm / 2.3 ft.
CHF 1.80 for 90 cm / < 3 ft.
CHF 2.20 for every stem that is longer than 90 cm / 3 ft. <
